From the Canary
Islands on course
to the future
Arabella has more than 20 years of experience in the international maritime transport of goods, specialising in the transport of aggregates as well as port logistics. Our headquarters and home port is located in Gran Canaria (Canary Islands), a strategic location for our operations in the Atlantic and Mediterranean.
We currently have four vessels perfectly equipped to meet the demands of our clients with agility and efficiency on customised import/export routes between Africa and Europe. Our activity, both as ship owner and ship manager, focuses on ship management (maintenance, documentation, HR, chartering…). In terms of transport, we transport general cargo, bulk solids, fertilisers, cereals and other dry cargo.
Our fleet, consisting of the ‘Dura Bulk’, ‘Storm I’, ‘Islas Dos’ and ‘Nordanvik’, has a cargo capacity of between 0000 and 000 tonnes. The largest vessels in our fleet also have 0 00 tonne cranes which combined have a cargo capacity of up to 000 tonnes, as well as having ‘tweendeck’ between decks which allow the hold to be divided into 2 levels. All these characteristics allow us to enjoy great flexibility and adaptability to all types of cargo and to operate even in ports that do not have loading or unloading facilities.
Furthermore, Arabella belongs to the Centauri group, whose companies are focused on the maritime sector.
Evolving towards a sustainable future
As a player in the shipping industry, we are aware of the impact our activity can have on the environment. Arabella is committed to protecting it and preventing any form of pollution. This involves a constant analysis and review of all aspects of operations, with the aim of developing guidelines and making innovations and improvements, both in terms of our vessels and the knowledge and performance of our staff. The aim is to strike a balance between the environmental and economic needs of the communities in which we operate.
